Default I know its a question asked hundreds of times

Iv been recently looking for a controller to use with Traktor Pro. My budget ideally would be around £250 but I have been thinking about pushing it a little further to get myself the Xponent.

I had also looked at the Behringer BCD3000 but have seen a few negative posts about them on here.
Iv already looked for a used VCI100....i may set that as my next target.
What i want to know is if anyone has had a good experience with the Xponent or if they think there are better ones out there for my £290 budget.

Being patient and getting a used VCI-100 is your best bet. I predict the market will be flooded once this is released.

The MIDI Fighter is another controller that's relatively cheap and has a lot of the same controls as the VCI-100SE.

Ehm, not really. It has buttons. Just as well use your keyboard in that case.

i began with a bcd3k and i think it's a nice, unexpensive controller to start with. if you dug the mixing you can always upgrade to a vci or something else..
