Yeah Idk why a traktor user would use mp3 gain. It's more of a ableton dj thing so we can turn our channel faders all the way up and not have to worry about clipping.

mp3gain is as much a part of my mp3 preparation setup as Mixed In Key is... very nice having all my mp3s at the same volume... particularly if you dj with other programs, use itunes/winamp or play with CDJ's. Also, I dj a lot of unsigned material that hasn't been mastered professionally... mp3gain is a lifesaver.

and yeah, its non-destructive so more to the point, why wouldn't you use it? Traktor's autogain only increases/decreases the gain for tracks played within Traktor... what happens when you want to play the mp3 with another program?
