It's not German but i took my Dj name from this beer...

It's french for "the end of the world"...
Kinda fitting since i'm one of those nuts who's pretty sure the whole shit house is going up in flames in 2012.

You want to look for a beer made by Kloster Andechs Brewery (usually just called Andechs)...

Although the brewery is located outside of Munich; you should be able to find it sold some places in Berlin.

This shit is THE MOST BOMBEST OF BOMB BEER I HAVE EVER TRIED. Anyone who's tasted it can attest.

    Periodic table of beers.

Also if you do actually go to Berlin, you'll have to make a decision.

Screw germany come to NZ and we will show you how good beer is made

European beers I do like La Choufe, any of the Westmalle range (espc the Tripel). Pretty sure they are both from Belgium though...

I find the Hofbrau's all very bland though.

Has anybody here tried any of the Epic range? This is my favourite NZ brewery.

Got a problem with audio glitches in windows? Get an Epic Barrel Aged Ammageddon, then you wont care coz your mouth will be way too happy.

But seriously if you like beer and ever see epic you should buy it...

Most of the beers in this thread are vile. Whats with the obsession with ultra-strong beer thats as black as tar and tastes like burnt toast.

I hate strong beer that tastes like bread...

I like Spanish and Mexican beer that is light and tastey and good for getting drunk on.

I dont like beer made from wood and tree-moss.

And i fuckin HATE Guinness. Its the worst drink in the world ... and no i dont like it in Ireland , its the same shite all over the world.

Give me a crate of Corona and im a happy drunk..!

Guess that makes me a light-weight then..

The Warsteiner Dunkel is another one of my fav's. And they have a great slogan, Eine Konigin Unter Den Bieren. One of the only good things about living in Cincinnati is that most of the area is of german decent, so the bars hear have a large selection of German beers, and most of them have the big name ones on tap.
