    Yah deadmau5 is kinda w/e's but i like the way the wall paper looks.

    Also looking some cd players that wont break the bank or may some turn tables to mess about with any suggestions? (i know techniques/pioneers are the best but like i said i dont want to break the bank)

    It's awesome BTW....if you are strongly considering cdjs I'd probably look at the Kontrol S4 first. Why not just learn what you have, it's a pretty powerful combo.

    personally i dont understand how anyone can dj without some sort of platter, its just not fun imo

    watch midifighter/pad controller videos... I thought the same until I tried my mate's MPD24.

    I still love my VCI and like having the platters, and still love fader FX, but I can have a lot of fun with buttons alone.

    I've really come to like endless encoders for scrolling through playlists and scrubbing through tracks.

    The main reason i was considering cdjs/turntables was to just have something to mess aground with when i want to play with along side my x1s (not to mention the s4 is kinda expensive :[). I love my x1s they are super functional, and like others have said having jog wheels/platters really isn't necessary (at least imho.) Just looking for moar toys to play with

    I've done it plenty of times, its just nowhere near as fun as having a platter
