If you don't have much room or don't have a table like mine to sport the heavy case... You should look into these because with a Deck Saver cover they'd work really well.

And I have the Uber Stand, it's ok... But after reading around on DJTT I'd prefer one of these.

Odyssey makes a case that doesn't have a laptop stand. I ordered mine from djdeals for $99. Got it yesterday and it looks great!

It's not that there isnt enough room, in fact the case would be nice in bringing my S4 up to turntable height, as you would know the only issue is that the s4 flight case retails here in Australia for $300, uberstand for $100 and the crane for $200, and with the flight cases in extreme high demand i thought i mayswell just pick up an uberstand.

Did you get your flight case from djtt? if so how much was shipping to aus?

    thanks again for the help

I'd only recomend the Uber Stand if your not going to be folding it away often and it wont be doing gigs. Its use of zip ties is fiddly. The Crane stand looks much better with the fold away clips.

I got my flight case from store dj for 250 because they charged me 1250 for the S4 pre-order

imo the crane stand looks like you could accidentally tip it over (not saying it would)

its all balanced. as long as you have the top tilted forward/ closer to you than the base, youre fine.

stick it under a mixer or large controller and youre solid.

I've spun at various clubs over here in Toronto, and almost all the DJs I've seen including myself, use the uberstand. I find it really compact to fit in a knapsack and the zipties really aren't bad at all, i manage to get mine so it doesn't wiggle, the only thing you have to worry about is not push backwards on the stend excessively because, like most stands, it would topple over.
