Default Sweating it out in this weight room setup

Once-a-month I kick out the jams in a local gym (David Barton - Seattle) - the in-house setup is a pair of Stanton CDj's+Stanton 2channel mixer (all housed in a nifty Stanton flight case) - not what I'm be comfortable using... SO... I bring my own setup in for the night - in these photos I was joined by out-of-town friend and guest DJ who line in'd to the mix

    ---The Setup---

    Ohm64
    TraktorScrPro+Audio8 (Slave Midi synch)
    Pioneer DJM-800
    Macbook 13
    +
Traktor S4 - (Master Midi synch)
    Macbook 15
    --------------
= 7 decks and our own way of sweating in the gym

Hey man, I'm looking for a new 4 channel mixer for my setup, would you recommend the DDM 4000, I may be purchasing one very soon?

i really love my ddm; you can choose which channel strips run midi and which stay analog, then even if you're running it in midi you can still run audio through the channels and control volume using the individual gain knobs.
so what i do is 2 channels audio from audio2dj and then 2 channels for fx, i maintain use of my mic, and use everything else for cue points, song select, etc.

i really like how flexible it is in its uses.

    what equipment do you use?
    external mix? internal?
send me a pm and ill answer all questions and give some suggestions without any bias
Hardware: Akai Max49, Maschine, Equator D5 monitors, Saffire Pro 14
    Software: Logic, Maschine

I liek the look of that, however I can't see the point in a mixer that has all those functions. What are you going to do when you play out? Cart it with you? I doubt it. So all those neat things you learnt on it won't be available to you.....

Kind of makes it redundant in my opinion....

I played with one at my local DJ shop for a minute the other day. For the price I was impressed with the quality of the faders and knobs. Although they dont campare to other high end gear, seems alright for the money.
