Default DJ setup - final output enhancements?

    Hi all,

Been out of the game for a number of years and have recently picked up so old equipment that i couldnt pass on.

So im doing my bro's wedding and ive got what i need decks, CD decks, PA, 4 channel mixer and soem BIG speakers. Great. But i wondered weather i can make it sound better by passing the final stereo out through some kinda normaliser/Equaliser/leveller that will make the overall sound that much better?

What do peeps do these days?

Yes and no. A nice 15/31 band equalizer could help the sound, but it can also hurt it if not setup properly. Eq'ing a sound system is a fine art of minuscule adjustments that make drastic changes. But to be honest, it's not necessary, and most likely nobody will even notice.

^^ I agree with this 100%. Eq'ing can do more harm than good if u dont know what you're doing.

    Good Luck!
