    Phew! had me worried there :P its ok ive got two decks controlled by the soon to be bought audio 4 + the other two (if any) will be controlled by my apc40

    Well you're going to need something to output those decks to the sound system.
    Pretty much, if you want to mix 4 decks w/ an analog mixer, then you need a audio 8.
