Is anybody else having weird issues with traktor while running windows 7? interestingly enough, my other laptop running windows xp has none of these problems

nah my backup laptop is win7 and my gaming desktop is also win7 (which runs traktor BRILLIANTLY by the way - when im not playing starcraft 2 that is)

try optimizing with dplatency check, if you see the red bar, you gotta disable stuff
    Setup:

    Traktor Pro 2 / S2 MK2 / X1 MK2 / Audio6 / Pioneer HDJ2000 / Westone UM3X / rMBP 13 inch 2014 (2.8 GHz) / Focal Alpha 50

Been using Traktor on Windows 7 since the beta version of 7 came out, haven't had a single problem. What are the problems you are experiencing?

    I've got zero problems too.

+1 on checking your DSP Latency. Try disabling your wireless card or bluetooth antenna, as those are typically the first places that mess with audio signals.

it should be stated that im running traktor duo. but the biggest prob is when i load a song into a deck, the tempo is waaaaaaay too fast. i dont mess with the inline faders, but once i lower the tempo as much as possible on the fader, its now the correct tempo for the song. not exactly a life-threatening issue but annoying nonetheless

It's a good idea to rest your pitch faders to zero whenever you start traktor. If you hold shift and center the fader the software will rest itself to zero. Not sure if that will fix your problem or not, but it's worth a try. That's using the latest 3_5_2 DJTT mapping though.

I had problems with Traktor and it picking up my Numark Omni Control, so reverted back to XP.

I had issues at first but that turned out to be my sound card drivers. Using ASIO4ALL and now my Audio 2 fixed all that.
