    Hey Guys,

I just started the whole DJing thing a couple weeks ago and soo far im loving it! I got Traktor Pro off of my buddy and have just been learning a how to use it from videos off youtube, mainly stuff from Ean Golden! What i want to ask is , what is the best way for me to progress and learn? i want to do this right, no skipping steps or anything. also, just any tips you guys have for a beginner like myself.

    thanks guys

Record some mixes and listen to them. Figure out what you did wrong and fix it next time your record a mix.

This, to me, is the most effective way of learning how to become fluid. When i first started DJing, i was only backing rappers at their live shows, so there wasnt much mixing going on. When i got my own gear and started practicing mixing, i became very good friends with the record function in traktor. mix, listen, mix, listen, repeat. do this over and over. You'll hear every little mistake like when your timing is off, or when you shouldnt use that effect or when you use that other effect way too much. You'll learn fast
