    Default Breaks, help

Breaks, Im more a proggresive House, Tech house guy however I find myself becoming interested in breaks. I only have 4-5 tracks in my collection I class as breaks, and everytime I play it the missus loves it.... so, im on a mission to collect some quality.

Problem, Ive been listening to a lot of the breaks on beatport and finding that im not liking 90% of it. Im not a fan of this grimy, machine, dubstep electro kinda out of space stuff... most of it sounds just a tad too uptempo for my tatse.... Organic, is the word that springs to mind when i think of the breaks i like... sounds strange to use organic in relationship with EDM.

here are the tracks I have in my collection of breaks.

In and out of love - Armin van Buuren
Whos afraid of detroit - stanton warriors remix
Fer de lance - propper villains dub mix (found this gem amongst a lot of shit that was the southern fried compilation)
    NYC beat _MSTRKRFT remix
Ghost feat. jes - toskin remix (this is about as grimy as I like it, IMO its not over the top)

As you can see I guess these are midtempo breaks....

Ill keep looking on beatport, but some ideas from you guys would be handy.

    Cheers

BradCee recommended some good stuff. Check out anything on the FingerLickin label, Soul of Man, DJ Decent, Koma & Bones, DJ Icey, Uberzone, Freestylers. All the previous I would classify "Middle School Breaks" others might call NuSchool Breaks. If you're looking for old school breaks, then Afrika Bambataa, Egyptian Lover, Knights of the Turntable, LA Dreamteam.

I don't really have much of anything by the way of Breaks. That'll change soon, thanks Brad and SirReal.
