Default HELP! Audio2DJ soundcard - distorted output

Just recently purchased my Audio2 from NI, it worked properly for the first few days, and now when plugged in to speakers the signal is not correct, it seems to be lacking the "thump" end of the bass frequencies. the odd thing is my headphone output is correct.

Im sure its not a speaker issues, as ive tried other soundcards on the speakers with no issue.

    any help is appreciated!

have you tried messing with the latency settings, i ran into popping problems and changing some of those settings using the audio2dj program assisted in getting rid of the "pops"

Try switching around your speakers and headphones and see where the distortion is. If it follows your speakers, then probably that, but if then your headphones are distorted then that means it's the specific output on the Audio 2 that's gone defunct.

now heres where it gets strange...switched the speakers and headphone, distortion stuck with the speakers. but when i plugged the speakers into a saffire6 interface, there were no issues. so i dont think its the speakers.

thanks for the help so far everyone!

Maybe it's the cable then that you're using with the speakers? Try swapping out the cable(s) you're connecting to the speakers.

Thought that too but the cables for other speakers on other speakers didnt work either. Could it be a problem with traktor? Is there a way to analyze traktors output?
