Default what is Maschines place in non-hip hop EDM

it seems to be focused on hip hop djs (just like all other drum machines/workstation). what functionality do you gain from this over just using a well mapped controller on ableton or any other DAW?

For me, it's a sampler and workflow thing, and my EDM tracks don't suffer because I use a lot of samples anyway.

The 1.5 update added a truck load of instruments and sounds that arent specifically Hip Hop based.

I think the Hip Hop thing is an understandable criticism but thats the largest market. I think it will become a much more all-round machine in time.

JUst wish i had more time to get with mine.
