If i want to run 4 decks out of my behringer ddm4000 (possibly at one time) through traktor pro, will i have to use an audio 8 dj? or can i use the audio 4 dj and save some money?

the audio 4 only has 2 outputs the audio 8 has 4 but you could use 2 channels as midi i think and 2 channels analogue but im not entirely sure. You'd have to ask someone with a similiar setup

You can run 4 decks in Mono on the Audio 4 (someone always points this out , though why you would want to id beyond me).
Otherwise 4 external decks requires the Audio 8 or any other card with 4 Stereo Outputs.
LOL....yeah....Why would you play in Mono?
If it was production or something I would understand the reasoning....but DJing?
I suppose....they just pointing it out....

It's early here and I've only had one cup of coffee, but couldn't you run four decks internally with the DDM4000 regardless of soundcard?
I suppose you could....but his question was about the Audio 4....so its been answered according to that.
Not sure its Traktor Certified etc.
