Default Kontrol x1 and new sample feature??

Hi everyone i was wondering how the x1 would work when the new traktor update comes out, so that it can use the samples on deck a and b?

I was looking at buying one of these yo use with my cdj 400s in HID mode untill i hear about the update and if i have to pay or not, as i want to get TSP but not but it now then the update costs more money

    It works really really well.

You can use the X1 in NHL mode to control Traktor as you would normally but then switch to Midi Mode and control the Sample Decks with the X1 with a Midi TSI.
Although, this is only one way of doing it. Im sure NI will develop a tsi to use with the S4 features once its rolled out to Traktor.

If your thinking of buying TSP then i would get it now whilst you can find it cheaper.
You can add the Sample Features at a later date when it comes available.

The sample update will be an addition. TSP wont be sold with the sample feature.
It has to be an update. This may change in the future but not the near future.

If you wanna buy TSP just buy it mate.

    Dunno..? Genuinely.

All the available info on the TSP Sampler Update is already known.

Traktor Pro S4 software will not be made available separately.

The Sampler And Loop Recorder Features will be rolled out as an update for current Traktor Pro and Traktor Scratch Pro users.

There is currently no information available on whether the update is paid or unpaid.

My point (that i think your picking up on and developing) is that whether, in the distant future TSP is sold with the sampler features already included is not known. This does not mean that it will be a paid update for anyone.

There are so many factors in this its not even worth guessing.

Im sure it will be cleared up pretty soon.

I just got 2 kontrol x1s. One of the overlays was for samples. Anyone else notice that? I'm guessing it will be very easy to incorporate the x1

Yeah... seems like a lot of Serato users are loving the X1.
