Default connected 5V and GND at expansion ports = MF doesnt work

Hi there! I was playing with Mf additional ports and accidentally connected 5V with GND. After that my Midifighter is not sending midi signals at all. What should i do to repair it? Thanks

I would say unless you have decent surface mount rework skills there is nothing you will be able to do as I would guess the micro controller is borked.

When you turn it on what happens?

That's good, I figured from the tone of midifidler's post it was pretty much fried.
