The act dictating what americans can and cannot put in their own bodies, is the most devastating piece of legislation ever passed... so far. Being born and raised in a state where marijuana has been the backbone of our economy for over 200 years, Kentucky, i find letting this proposition fail to pass grossly irresponsible for any american.

"Prohibition... goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes... A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded. "
    -Abraham Lincoln

Fantastic quote from one of my favorites. The insidious lifestyle legislators of the past 100ish years are undermining our principles...current admin included.

Id vote for a national legalization.
I know over time other states would follow if one were to get it legalized.
But Id vote no for california or any other state... The state who gets it legalized will only end up making money from pothead tourists who flock to the state to buy ganja. Then they will go over state lines and suddenly be subjected to their state laws. Plus having it legal will only make our country more stupid if the access to it is on every corner.

all 50 states at once or nothing

I have to agree with you there. The owner's of this country have everything stacked in their favor with complete disregard for the constitution. If only we truely listened to Carlin, instead of just laughing along, then maybe we wouldn't be stuck in this fascist nation that one step away from instituting eugenics. Since the loss of habeas corpus in 2005, the contolled use clauses of 1937, and allowing women to vote in 1920(last one was a joke), they've been systematically turning us into submissive ingrates, that actually believe democracy means being told the difference between right and wrong. Then again i'm not in a place to judge anybody; i'm just a Marxist leaning towards the all too tempting promise of anarchy, while stuck in a capitalist society with nothing better to do with my time than dream of my island.

But alas, this is not the place for my rants. This is my refuge, a place where something as simple as a button that makes noise can mean salvation.

While I don't wish to get drawn into a political theory discussion I would like to admit my disdain for Marxist and socialist thought. It is exactly what a subservient population leans towards. Sacrificing individual freedom for security. And while there are many flaws within capitalism at no other time in human history has technology advanced as much and with as much unfettered progress.
