Alright, for serious guys, can we do SOMETHING to keep the bots away? Add Captcha? Get some more mods who DON'T live in Australia (even if they do keep crazy hours like Bento)? something? Anything?

Spam kills forums. We need to do what we can to keep it to a minimum.

This is the plugging i have been looking at to combat the spam, its the same spam protection used on the blog which works quite well:
