i don't think wickedslight was out of line for telling buddy to put a bit more content on his blog before promoting it, pretty spot on if you ask me.

what's worse, a bit of tough love or learning things the hard way?

What the fuck are you people talking about. I'm just putting together a little blog with some video and audio clips. Thought I would share and see if anyone here had anything that might fit in with it. Tough love? Learning things the hard way? That doesn't even make any damn since to me. If I were attempting to make a website, with a huge fan base and promote my latest sextape or some shit like that then this advise might make since. But I'm not. Just a little collection of audio of video clips in one spot on the internet. THAT's IT. I am always so misunderstood. The story of my life is written in a language no one speaks.

I just went to threadless.com and submit it as a t-shirt slogan. 500 bucks if they use it. http://www.threadless.com/profile/10...y_Flic/slogans

I've added quite a few things to my blog for it only being alive 24 fours. Added a classic videos page, that for the time only has Qbert videos. Added 72 to my audio page.I think this thing my come along nicely. Or maybe I'll just give up, whatever. It's fun.

I run a pretty successful music blog, we get xxx,xxx views a month etc etc etc.

My #1 advice is - do it for yourself. You really can't care what most people think - Just post whatever *YOU* think is awesome - and eventually people will listen, and if they don't then be happy with being niche (but trust me, your probably not alone)

Don't expect results right away, just keep on plugging and force yourself to post. Spend as much time doing as quality posts as you can - things will slowly grow.

Let me know if you want any serious advice on my experiences. I've been going just over a year now and its opened so many doors for me musically and even career wise - its well worth the investment.

    GOOD LUCK (!)

So like I give up. Not on the blog, on this thread. I guess no one here at DJTT knows of any links to cool DJ stuff. Or they don't want to share. It's all good, I still like ya'll. We coo.
