The cracked versions of the software are usually older versions. I do see some people asking for help on certain things that occasionally can't be fixed because they're using cracked software.

I am in a similar boat as the OP. I have an omni control and Traktor LE. I very much enjoy mixing in my loft already but since I have read so much on these forums and lots of the chapters in Traktor bible I feel like some of the stuff I want to do is off limits with LE.

I want to be able to save cue points for use later. I also would like to edit Beat Grids and clean up all my mp3s that I plan to play so that I can know with certainty that if I need to press the sync button, I can trust that it will sync correctly.

I do not use a lot of effects because the basic ones are exactly that.. basic.

I have been practicing for a couple weeks now but reading for months (3+). Should I make the jump to Traktor Pro right now and start learning this functionality from the beginning or should I wait until I completely outgrow LE?

Money is not really the limiting factor in my situation, I am just wondering how soon everyone upgraded when they were new to DJ'ing.

I want to learn to beat juggle in the future and as soon as I can respectfully call myself a real DJ I would like to convert to "controllerism".. it sounds so cool saying that, almost like announcing a new religion.

Thanks in advance for everyone's responses and even to those who just post in these forums.

Do the upgrade and I promise you will be more than satisfied you did.

Yeah, Traktor LE with the Omni control isn't great... TP is alot better. And with 4 knobs for effects to play around with, the possibilities are endless.

Thanks for the input. I think I will upgrade this weekend. I want to start editing beat grids according to Ean's video. There are several songs in my crate that need some editing.
