Lately I've just been mashing all sorts of genres of music together. Usually ends up sounding with a triphop feel, mixed with a little half time drum and bass rhythms and soul samples... with samples just chopped and diced and rearranged.

As of late, I've been doing alot of vocal chopping. I really enjoy it....

I for one cant sing or rap... so I chop up sounds and vocal phrases and play them out like an instrument. I'll drum out 16 or 32 bars as my 'verse'.... Alot of mixing and matching goin on to find out what goes good with the beat... ultimately the words/vocals arent supposed to mean anything... sometimes it ends up sounding like words, which is pretty cool...

I guess its my way of 'singing' ..LOL

this is sick bruv cutting up some grade A beats here i think it would be complimented by some MC vocals, you should find an MC to work with it would make for an unstoppable force.

I've worked with a few emcees already, but lately I've been having trouble trying to find a good place to record.. As well as the conflicting time schedules... That's why I've been making instrumentals as of late.
