    For all those lazy Dj's haging around, the great internet has come up with the future of mixing:

    LazyDJ
    is an app for lazy DJs who do not want to think about what song they should play next.

    isnt that just pretty much the same thing as genius for itunes. Sometimes if i get stuck when mixing or just being lazy i use genius to find a song. Makes for cool mixes when you are using songs you wouldn't usually mix with. I think it could be good for start out dj's to improve there song selections and broaden there music collection.

    I'm still not sure, as i see it the use of this kind of tools might compromise the learning curve of a dj, same as auto sync affecting the basic learning skills of a dj, and by learning i don't mean manual syncing: as a side effect beatmaching has a huge influence in the learning of song structure and eq use.
    There's been a lot of discussion on what makes a dj a dj, and i think track selection is one important topic never to miss.

    I just saw this earlier, and while I may not agree with the complete use of it for picking your next track, it gives you a HUGE advantage over genius in learning new artists that fit a certain sound and finding something new.
