    Default Mac user? 2x A8DJ?

I've got two A8DJ and considering investing in OSX (Book, Mini or Pro: I do not know).

Was wondering if the driver behaves any differently in OSX versus Windows. If I try to attach both interfaces at the same time, I can only use one.

If you happen to have 2x A8DJ and a Mac, don't suppose I could ask you to check the following?

    - attach both interfaces
    - check that they show in the system independently
    - open to music applications, and see if each can have a single interface assigned to them
    - check to see if you can otherwise create an aggregate device

    Any assistance would be fantastic.

i dont have 2 audio8 cards but i have some other cards running on mac.

I could attach all of my 5 different audiointerfaces at the same time and they all show up independently. In traktor i can only attach one of them, but i can make a workaround by creating an aggregated device. This is a must if you are going to use traktor with either djm2000 or cdj2000.

If you attach 2 audio8 cards you can aggregate them so they show up as one device.

Cheers for your consideration, but really hoping for a response from someone who meets the criteria...

...that said, 2x A2DJ or 2x A4DJ may prove a suitable test as well.

I believe the driver will be the crux of this matter, and whether or not it will allow itself to be addressed by two of the same interface simultaneously.

You dont need to install drivers on mac. Its core audio

running 2 cdj soundcards would be the same as running 2 NI soundcards except that u would have more i/o's

    Default Huh?

    *scratches head*

This confuses me, seeing as there's a driver on the NI website for Mac...?

its not really a driver, more like an application for the soundcard settings

    Default Uh-huh.

    Ta for the feedback, semiotic.

By no means closed, peeps: keep chiming in, whether it be regarding my question or general comments on 'aggregate devices' and how you use them.
