HD 25 ftw. The rotatable earcup alone does wonders for me. I really don't like having one earbud on my shoulder or hanging around somewhere. Being able to swivel it aside is very handy. Audio quality and comfort is also great.

i picked up the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro but im not really an audiophile. they are pretty comfortable, somewhat bulky on the top, but the swivel earpiece is really nice. played for about 4 hours and didnt realize any soreness of my ear which has been common in the past with just pc headphones.

what am i missing out on with the more expensive versions? would anyone please recommend another intro set thats not going to break the bank? thanks,

I don't really have that much experience with different kind of headphones, but out of the ones I've tried the Sennheiser HD 25s are, as mentioned above, the best by far. The noise cancellation is absolutely fantastic and they're light and comfortable as well.

I've seen them around the net recently, they look very similair to the 2000's. they only cost $99, not to bad i think, the only question is are they really that good, considering their price? If they stand upto Pioneer's reputation of quality products, then maybe they worth looking into.
