I was lucky to attend this year's VMAs, and I can you Deadmau5 did squat. Seeing his custom booth was nice, but he didnt performed or really his music much. They could have had any dude up there with a video mouse head on. The music he played was a mix of his and other VMA artists. I think it's funny, he sh!tted on DJ a few years back, and he took a role of one at the VMAs.

IMO, its good and bad that EDM is going mainstream again, that means as DJs, we could get more work to play the music we like instead of mixing stuff we dont like.

Britney & Rusko is old news, about 5 months old at least.

What did anyone expect..?
Did anyone expect that Dubstep, as a Genre was more discerning or that its main players (or even its underground players) were less into making money or chasing fame.

There are some serioulsy deluded people in the dubstep scene... really.

wow, see there exactly is what i was talking about. britney spears and rusko?? how f-ed up was the person that said "lets get these two together and make a track for her new album!" i like rusko, he has some good stuff...and britney even has her place and time, but together is like putting salt on ice-cream, or sugar on popcorn...you just dont do it!
