First person to say "i told you so" on saturday gets a virtual slap on the head.

Theres been a million guess and a many were made weeks and weeks ago.

Do we want to list them here:

My guess (again) 4 channel hardware Mixer. Midi everything. For The Bridge, Serato/Ableton. Has a screen for watching pr0n... sorry i mean for firing clips.
Basically a Rane 68 specifically for the Bridge.

    Street price of £2,000.

Last pic seems like it could have a DJM2000 style screen. That for launching Ableton clips would be sweet, although Karlos's price estimate is probably pretty close.

    Agreed.

Now what's your guess on Pioneer? Serious question though. Why no hype from Pioneer. The S4 got some good hype up, and the DB:4 is getting marketed pretty well with teaser shots. Why would a big company like Pio not be pushing/marketing their new products. Are they not that far in development and don't want to present a product that's not fully operational or is it just not worthy of hype?

Dunno mate. I only heard what everyone else did that there will be a Pio controller for Traktor and one for Ableton.

Theres no buzz going round NI about anything from Pioneer (not at pond life level anyway).

Pioneer have gone crazy with new products this year.

Ill be taking lots of pics and Rainer is shooting some video so ill try and demo all this stuff and post it up. Hopefully some demo vids of as much stuff as possible and anything that i can get in my over-size rucksack. Im a little guy that can run like the wind, bit like a Victorian street urchin thief hahaha

Now pioneer midi controllers would be a good thing as the midi phobes will think that midi is the new cd as pioneer makes them so all the better. More competition means more toys to play with and better prices all round, also might mean midid controllers as standard in clubs .

This is why I think Pioneer won't make midicontrollers.

Why? Because their overpriced CDJs will be obsolete to the mass market. Pioneer people will start looking at midicontrollers - and they won't choose the Pioneers just because they are in fact Pioneers. But they will start looking at the layout more and maybe alot of them would like the S4 or DB:4 more.

    Brainpicking.

Is somebody going to set up a flickr feed or something to upload photos to? Maybe someone's going to tweet photos? I need gear porn!!

Speaking of porn I had an assignment yesterday to shoot some firemen that were doing extrication training with the jaws of life and other such tools on cars that had been in wrecks and were totaled. As they were cutting up one of the cars they found a bunch of gay porn DVD's in the trunk. Funny!
