Default Anyone wanna help me spend some $$

Ok so i'm buying some new gear to add to my set up.

I have a budget of €400 which is 545 dollars or so.

What i need is a basic 25 key midi keyboard.
    A launchpad.

And something to use to control traktor.

Anyone like to help me out ?

You can just use the 25 key and the launchpad to control traktor.

Keyboard: Behringer UMX 25. Gets you 8 knobs, 8 buttons, modulation, Pitch Bend and a fader. These can be midi assigned for effects and faders. This was what i first used to control traktor

Novation Launchpad is the obvious choice for a launchpad. Unless you mean an drumpad. Then you can get the Korg PadKontrol.

Save the left over cash for when you find out what route you wanna take (Producer/DJ) as your main thing. Then get more specialized gear with the parameters of what you like to play/make in mind.

    I have a

Vestax VCI-300. (Don't plan on using it with traktor, Going to sell it)
    A UC 33-e
And a pioneer efx 500. (Being sold to fund more gear).

I was thinkin a cheap 25 key midi keyboard.
    Novation launchpad.

    + Kontrol X1 ?

but i only have a numark dj i/o soundcard and i'm not too sure about it for gigs.

Do you wan't the keyboard to be mobile? If so check out the Akai LPK25.. stay away from the Korg Nano series.. even for home use as the build quality sucks. If you're not going to take the keyboard with you then I'd consider more keys.. 25 is very limited.. you'll have to mess with octave change keys all the time!

I use two Akai LPD8's to control traktor when I'm out at gigs... I find these are great for clubs with unpredictable booth layouts.. I bring some Gaffer's tape and tape these suckers down to wherever I can! I can use 8 cue points on each deck and control every setting in FX Banks 1 and 2 with the knobs.

Without knowing a bit more of your ideal vision its hard to make better recommendations.

Well i will be producing minimal, house and hopefully some proper techno.

I'll be taking the keyboard with me to college so 25 keys is kind of all i can take tbh.

I was thinking of two akai lpd 8's but then again the kontrol x1 looks really really worth the investment.
    Definitely want a novation launchpad.

i was thinking of the following,

    Behringer UMX 25
    Kontrol X1
    Novation Launchpad.

    but i'm not too sure.
