Imagine, just imagine if livid and djtt teamed up... Wooden midifighters with open source firmware... It's a beautiful vision.

+1 on the DJTT/Livid team. That would be totally bangin'. They would make beautiful babies.

That is pretty dope, they are def stepping it up in terms of the level of polish in their controllers.

Would be interesting to see how they implemented the LED feedback, but I guess nothing too exciting there as the 450$ suggests lots of led controllers

I would pay livid prices for the freedom you get with the software... Everywhere else you have restraints on what apps and ways to map it... Price does hurt though.

I'm pretty sure I've seen that before, like a few months ago, maybe CDM ran a teaser? Way cool but I would just forget which knob does what hahaha... Actually it's 8 columns so could easily control parameters on different Ableton clips I suppose. Livid makes some damn beautiful machines ...

Not sure about their functionality though, at least out of the box -- this is great for someone who wants to do a lot of mapping and memorizing, hehe. And the Ohm 64 is gorgeous but in the end I feel like I'd have a lot more flexibility and options controlling Ableton with an APC40. Now pair an APC with the Code though and presto you're playing with EQs and filters on every single channel. This would definitely be fun, though I think if I was blessed with the money and time to go the Livid route I'd want to get a Mojo, or even better, roll my own with their kits.

oh yeah definitely +1 for a djtt/livid teamup, I like what Moldover did but I think a lot better could be done with some of the ideas here. A sexy wooden box covered with patches of arcade buttons, perfect HID jog wheels, oak-capped innofaders and a mahogany trackball... oh yeah and it turns into a fire-breathing robot and stomps the audience to death at the end of your show.

when i envision controllers i seem to see something with a jogwheel, knobs and volume faders.

so my question is what do those buttons (that look like a bunch of square on math graph) do?
