Numark Mixtrack Crossfader

Hi guys

Anyone else out there have a Numark Mixtrack, I picked one up the other day and find the crossfader to be very light/loose, not sure if it's normal or knackered! What's everyone elses experience?

Yeah, it feels pretty cheap, and doesn't really work well, you only hear a difference when it's really near to the edges (left+right) if you understand what I mean? I just use the volume faders

Yeah I do, I was (trying!) to use it for scratching. There's no resistance at all to the fader (although not necessarily a bad thing for scratching), you can just give it a tap and off it flies to the opposite side, whereas the volume faders feel ok. All in all, it's not too bad a controller in all for the price, I was just worried if I'd picked up a duffer or not!
