Default Trainspotter - who uses it

Anyone using this application to manage your collection?

I think the idea and features it provides are awesome, but i'm still learning how to use it properly and what all it can do aside from creating smart playlists. I keep creating them and then I open up Traktor and they all don't pop up. I know I'm hitting save and can see them in my playlist folder in My documents - but they disappear. I have to create them 2-3 times before I get it right. I'm sure it's error on my part.

Looking for tips, tricks, likes and dislikes.

    I use it constantly.
Use it to make a NEW list (- 3 months, sorted by Add date)
To separate my tracks into hi, mid, lo energy
To separate subgenres: nu disco, tribal, dub tech etc
I also use the Key tool combined with a No Key playlist

The find duplicates playlist example also works well

Having said that, it is a BUGGY program. You gotta save before quitting or it sometimes crashes, sometimes playlists which I have deleted keep reappearing...

Bottom line the benefits outweigh the bugs

yeah thats what I'm figuring. If I can establish some smart playlists and nothing else it would be awesome.

Yeah I'm finding duplicate playlist after i've deleted some. If I can spend a few hours getting this just right and not having to mess with it much afterwords this would greatly help me with my playlists.

    Thanks.

I'm actually testing TS ver2 beta and was going to write a review for DJTT.

I will say this - it's lightyears ahead of even ver1.71.

I'd like to give this a try myself and perhaps provide some input to your review.

It's not an open beta, but your more than welcome to give it a try. I'll send you the necessary links.

If anyone finds any bugs or wierdness with the current version of Trainspotter please let me know so I can fix them. Post them to the trainspotter forum or drop me a PM and I'll fix it. If you take the time to report a bug I will fix it for you.

    This thing is AWESOME.

A few minor bugs or improvements for it to be rock solid --- but what it provides is freaking AWESOME.

    Huge Props.
