    Default Making Music

I'm not too familiar with music programs outside of Traktor Pro and Virtual DJ.

I was wondering what software to use to be able to mess around with music. Things like putting one songs lyrics over another's melody, things of that nature. Maybe the ability to actually MAKE music.

Ytakyot And Virtual DJ are mixing programs

To make music you need things like a Digital Audio Workstation.

Such programs include Ableton, Fruity Loops, Reason, Cubase, Logic., etc.

    ahahaahahaha

I'm about to get back into it having used "Reason" before and enjoyed the work flo. Now going over to Mac I have been told "Logic" all the way. So depending how serious you want to be about it depends i suppose what your willing to spend and devote time.

Although Solja boy did pretty well. Was'nt he taught FL by Deadmouse?

It's not the gear. It's how you use it.
limitations are the source of creativity.
If you don't practice you don't want it.

Another good program that I use occasionally is Sony Acid Music Studio. Fairly inexpensive for home version, and full free trial (can do pretty much everything).

It's super easy to use and seems to have pretty much everything you need.
