    Default Help with traktor issues.

So I have a few questions about traktor....

1)Traktor (legal 1.2.6 windows 7 64) comes up with some error when I open it to the effect of "traktor cannot use (find?) directory C:\customer\...blah blah blah directory reset to default value" but the default path is the same. and then my track collection is gone. Anyone have a fix for this issue.

    2) Loops. When I drop in a loop using the little numbers for the length of the loop it always seems to come in about 1/2 beat off of what I put it in for. I am using "snap" mode if that helps.

    3) more loops. Is there a way to drop loops and cuepoints in a "quantized" way as my timing isn't quite the best.

    thanks in advance all

If snap is on, it should drop your loop/cue on the grid line only. If your grid is good, it should be in sync.

If you want it at a point between grid lines then you wouldn't use snap.

Just playing cues, you can use quantize, but you are limited to slower rhythms and cannot adjust the quantize

activate quant and grid. if your latency is high (hence they are always late) press the button before the beat

that's the thing, snap is on and it drops inbetween the "lines" my computer is pretty high tech (i5 760 4gb ram dx 11 video card), is there something like a setting I should change in the preferences to fix this.

Increase it to 20 and see if that help.
