    *Lots of keywords in the comments field : vocals, soulful, subs, peak, no kick, rough, summer, classic... sometimes bits of lyrics or the name of a track that goes with it perfectly.
    *the key field. A lot.
    *hotkeys to a few playlists on the F keys : One of them takes me to the collection node, where I'll browse in genres. Those I dj with start with 0_, so all the usable genres are always at the top. Others are for example vinyl rips, recent purchases and a dynamic "tools" playlist which I manage using Trainspotter.
    *if I can't remember the name, the album art is usually helpful.
    *if I know exactly what I want, got a hotkey which activates the search field
