    Default Technics 1200 mk5 or technics 1210 mk5

    hey,

    i am in the market for turntables and i have the choice of either technics 1200 or 1210's any suggestions to what i should get and is the 1210 worth the extra 200 dollars, that is also discontinued or just the 1200's

    Technics is Technics. Get whatever ones are the cheapest.

    1210s are black, 1200s are silver. That's it.

    And i think 1210's support different voltages, but unless you're dragging them around the globe it shouldn't be an issue.

    I have a pair of black 1200's (not 1210's).... there must be a method to their naming madness.

    The prices are ridiculous on the 1200s now. Ebay is infested with BIN for $1,098 or $999 and CL is just as bad.

    technics still cheap in uk i know a site where u can get them £279 for a pair,used but loved conditon
