    Default Mass Genre detection tool

I have a load of tunes that are just labelled 'House' and I want to put them into a more specific genre bracket, ie Progressive, tech, electro etc...

I can doa few myself, after all Electro, Latino, deep and vocal are easy enough to marginalise, but others I stumble on.

is there a tool/program/function I can use that will cross reference itunes and correctly judge what genre a tune is?

Would be a great tool if there was as it.

Just do it yourself dude.. you'll get to know your tracks, develop a feeling for them and you can throw the ones you don't like right out.

Yeah, been doing that the last couple of nights, but a couple of things I've labelled as electro aretech in Beatport and I realised I've hardly labelled anything tech house!

Suppose I can go through a few times and fine tune as I go........

well as long as you divide them into what YOU think the right genre is.. does it matter what it says the genre is on BP?

you can cross reference with whats on beatport, BUT say one track is labelled "electro" another label might release it as "house"

but at the end of the day, just try do it urself, you will save a lot of time
