Default smart structure to use for Abletons project and VST?

Question; What is a smart structure to use for Abletons project and VST?
At the moment I have the following structure

    1. E:\project\mixes\
    2. E:\project\mashups\
    3. E:\Library*\Ableton\Library
    4. E:\Library\VST\FX
    5. E:\Library\VST\instruments

But I just installed PoiZone synthesizer and I just realized that some VST are installed under C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins.
I like to keep it all on a separate partition if a OS reinstall is necessarily. I think it's possible to install it to a other directory.

But I like to know what a good folder structure is for Future reverence

(*I have a shared base Library)

Some VST's need a installation anyways. So don't be surprised if they don't work after a fresh OS install.

You're structure is pretty good but I see room to simplify it even more:
Instead of having the subfolder FX and instruments, just put everything in VST itself.

The Project-structure is good. If you really have a lot of mixes and/or mashups you should consider adding another level, grouping them by year (e.g. E:\project\mixes\2010).

Everything is allowed which makes working for you easier. Even if you give every folder the name from a character of a sesam street. If that helps your productivity, go for it!
