Default Can anyone help me ? :)

I've been thinking of getting a maschine for ages but they're very expensive at the minute for me,

The only substitute for it for me seems to be a launchpad (Strangely enough)

But is there anyway to use the launchpad in the same way the maschine works ?

If you understand what i mean
    thanx in advance guys

Would save me a few hundred euros

Well they are both midi controllers, so they essentially work the same way.
However, what makes the machine so great is the accompanying software. Which can only be used with the Machine controller.

or do you just want drum pads?

the launch pad is just leds and on/off comands, its not velocity sensitive.
maybe a korg padkontrol would suit better

I'd like to have the led lit pads to be honest. Just so it's easier to use in a dull environment.

What are you going to be using this for? Pad Kontrol, Launchpad, LPD8, OHM 64, or something like this all have lit buttons

I know The only thing I can think of is that icon wanted to keep the size similar to the nano series but cram as much as possible into the space i.e. "nanoLaunch". The other controllers they have in the iseries are pretty cool too.
