Is learning to manually beatmatch on a Traktor S4 comparable (or doable at all?) to learning to beatmatch on cdjs? Would I be at a disadvantage picking up an S4 first as opposed to cdjs if i want to learn the basics?

if you have a device that 1) plays music, 2) has hardware to adjust the location of the song, and 3) has hardware to adjust tempo of song, then you can learn to beatmatch on it.

What about the S4 makes it good to learn on? If i learn on it will i be able to transition pretty seamlessly into beatmatching with cdjs?
Sadly, beatmatching is not possible on the S4. Should be coming soon though.
how is it not possible on the s4?? tempo adjustment (faders) and track nudge position/tempo (jogwheels) means of course it is possible. since you disagree with this jprime i would like to know why
So the jogs do have pitch bend? What's the sensitivity like?
