Default Logic for a proper proper noob!

I need some tutorials for Logic that explains it from the very BASICS

Dj'd for a few years and never really thought about doing anything like this but, got given a new mac pro and a copy of logic studio at work so I may aswell

I tried the lynda.com ones but they don't really help, as it uses templates, I want to start from scratch to build my own

Manuals? Heard macprovideo is good? worth the money?

    Any help much appreciated

    Hah this is hilarious.
I'm sat in the lounge waiting for the UPS guy to arrive with my Logic Studio.

I've checked out macpro and I might sign up for the monthly PRO package.
Also bought the Logic book that my local college uses from Amazon.

There's a thread in the Production forum with some Logic advice.

Now where is that UPS guy !!!

Yup, he the man. Those videos helped me immensely but, as with everything, the lurning curve is huge...

Basically it boils down to being musical as well as technical...

As important to learn about chords, scales, etc as it is to learn how to compress a kick drum right

    +9,321,431,245,313 to that.

Everytime I wait on deliveries it always seems to be forever, then I decide to step out to get food for 10 minutes (driving like across the street) and as soon as I come back I see the notification on my door saying "We missed you, come by our office tomorrow to pick it up." <-- Shittiest feeling ever!

Fucking Royal Mail left me a card to say they had been yesterday.
When i looked it was timed 5 minutes before the actual real time.
It said 2pm and it was 1:55 so i went out and i saw the cock in his van down the street.

I hate Royal Mail... they are a bunch of alcoholic work shy buggers. I should know i used to work there...

Fair doos i know minimal about music chords but my missus does so i get her to help (though i havent made a tune in about a year and a half)

I really think that Logic Ninja dude, starting from tut #1 is a good way to go.

I just couldn't crack it till i'd watched his vids

I used lynda.com for after effects, i think you can now pay for the exercise files course by course so is cheaper anyway.

For me it was logic ninja dude though...
