    Default Kontrol X1 Issue

I just received my X1 yesterday and am finding some oddness. Here is my setup:

Took my Numark Mixtrack, which previously controlled Decks A&B and changed the deck assignments to C & D respectively. I added the Kontrol X1 and imported the "NHL - single AB Mixer.tsi" file from the X1 setup DVD. This tsi is for the most part how I want the controller to be laid out. I made sure I deactivated the default X1 layout

Here is my problem: When using Deck B Volume Fader Pot, Deck A moves as well. This happens with all the mixer pots. Deck A EQ Lo Pot will affect Deck B's.

    What have I done wrong?

It's called the Tea Time error. It's not you it's the controller. My advice would be to try and return it to the place you bought for a new one. Or you can contact NI through their site and get a support ticket.

Same thing happened to me as well as many others, it is pretty well documented.

Thanks space monkey. Since I picked it up off ebay from an individual seller, I will give NI an email.

I believe it is an internal name for the errant knob behavior. Came across the description on the X1 forum @ NI. Not so well documented I suppose but very well experienced on the forums (NI and here). The name I wager comes from the wrong signals sent at or about the 12-3 o'clock position.

I am at work and don't have access to the setup cd, but you can download the tsi from NI
