considering the $$$ amount there, id say your "mounting" technique might want to be revised

Haha yeah, the MacBook really looks like it's not in a safe place.

get a legit flight case for that mixer + two cdjs

might work, fits my djm 400, looks like you have a djm707

then use the available foam blocks, or buy some more from a craft store, and cut into them to build in secure housing for the ipad to transport. once on site, flip the foam blocks upside down and rest the ipads on top to get them to mixer-height.

would give you decent cable management. doesnt solve the teetering MBP though.

might even fit the mixer + 2 ipads, and has the slideout tray for the MBP.

App on the computer is Serato ScratchLive. App on the iPads is Touchable. He's just changed the colors from default.

it was just a temp set up, and certainly is not ready to bring to a gig. its awesome for djing house, but its not possible to scratch. i am a vinyl guy my self, but this is not a bad option for someone spinning all house.

it breaks down easy, fits nicely in a backpack.

Although there is a learning curve to using the ipads, as with any new type of interface/controller, i feel like this could be a very reliable set up for house gigs.
