    So basically, I can get a second hand educational version , And i want to know can i buy the software anywhere ?

    And if so ... Where ?

    Nope. Soft and hard come as a package. You can buy a second controller but, not the software separately.

    FYI: its is fobidden by the Licence to sell NI Educational items so whoever is selling you an EDU maschine is breaking their agreement.

    It is also impossible to Unregister or Transfer the registration of EDU items.

    Hey Karlos it would be nice if NI sould the software simlar to Kore.

    Wishful thinking I know, plus I think NI is too busy with the 1.6 release...

    There was talk of including a stand alone version of Maschine in Komplete from what i see from a quick search, but obviously wasn't/won't be implemented for reasons known only to NI.

    Yeah the software is the most important bit cus everything can be controlled via midi on any control surface.

    Still, the maschine controller is such a great piece of kit i would lkike to do it with something else.

    You got a Kore controller JesC..?

    Its worth getting the legit version.

    Yes, as long as its the Full version and not Educational the transfer of ownership process is the same as any other NI software.
