Default microphone for native instruments the mouth

better microphone, better results i guess, but i don't have massive amounts of money to spend.

    im thinking of apogee "one"..

anyone made experiences here with "one" or other low budget microphones?

I second the Shure SM57. You won't get better for such a low price, infact it pisses on some of the more expensive mics for general use.

I'm thinking a plain and simple Behringer mic that costs too little will be more than enough to handle 'the Mouth' properly.

If that's not up to your standard, go for the Shure SM57. It's a surefire!

sm57 or sm58? from what i read on the shure homepage sm58 seems to be better for vocals and therefore for the mouth too.

I know everyones already said it, but shure SM57 is perfect, ive seen guys using beating the crap out the floor with one of these things and still manage to get a perfect tone out it.

The "One" is kind of a waste. Its an audio interface with a mic. Apogee makes great stuff, but I would get a real mic.

Like others said Shure makes some great mics. I have the sm57 and love it. Go with something like that!

Once again I would want to make one thing clear:

You're going to adapt sound through the mouth.

My best guess is most people, even on these boards, will probably not hear the difference between a "DJ headphone used as a mic" recording and a real mic recording when running it through the mouth.
