    Default Macbook, which one??

Ok, so i took on everyones thoughts from my other thread about what things are best or most needed on a new laptop. And im gettin that macbook's are the best to go for. So now im thinking that maybe selling my Pioneer CDJ1000MK2's and selling the replacement laptop im due to get for my broken one could possibly fund a macbook pro plus i got a xmas bonus from work so there's a good chance i could maybe afford one now. So i need advice on which one to go for? ive seen 2 one on ebay and one is a reconditioned one from pc world, here's the 2 links to those, whats your thoughts on buying a 2nd hand one or a recon one? would you? wouldnt you? all advice is greatly appreciated and im sorry for another thread but i felt with this one being specifically about macbooks i may get some more feedback and help as most of you seem to favour them.

Depends on how much the eBay one will go for.

The PC World has warranty which is a god send if theres a malfunction.

Either of them is powerful enough.

I think that warranty of Applecare is really important.

If you decide on the one on ebay you need to make sure it comes with the physical software discs that they're listing it comes with. Otherwise if you want to clear the hard drive and start from fresh, which I would do if I was buying a used laptop, you won't be able to reinstall that software.

I've bought an iMac, MBP, two iPhones, and and iPod touch refurb from Apple.

thought there would have been more feedback on this subject as everyone seems to have em lol, been to look at them in the shop before and the 13" one doesnt seem too small, but the 15" seems spot on let me know your point of view to which one you have, this is a lot of cash to splash so i wanna know as much as possible so i choose the right one and will be happy with it, the last thing i wanna do is buy one then few months down the linbe think damn i shoulda got the other one!!

Why not try the clearance page on the Apple site? That's where I got my current-gen MBP for £850 with a full warranty.

If you chose to pick it up from Ebay or such a website there is no way that I would recommend you buying one without apple care.

Would u think a refurbished 17" macbook pro from pc world would be ok? it comes with a years warranty and i can also purchase the apple care for it from apple themselves for when that 1st 12 months runs out

I wouldn't buy anything from PC World unless I really had to. But that's just because I hate them.
