Help - Creating a remix!

Hey guys,

First off Merry Christmas! Secondly, this could be a dumb question but I am going to ask anyway! I hear this all the time on the radio - the DJ is playing one song in the background and having the vocals from another track on top of it. For example he is playing the music (without the vocals) from "Go Girl - Baby Bash" while playing only the vocals from "Over - Drake" over it. How do they do that? Or do they have just the sound file with the acappella only?

Ahh okay, I was sitting there like and didn't know what to do! So I guess my best bet is to go get the acappellas and then grab instrumentals as well! Sigh.
