Hey guys im a noob at this traktor stuff but ive been mixing internally with my headphones but the music comeing from traktor sounds like crap! like its distorted and it has no bass. I tried turning everything down but its still distorted. Is there a way to fix this or will i need a sound card?

if the quality of audio output is important to you, there's no question about it - you need an audio interface / soundcard.

also turn down the master gain in traktor if you're using the limiter, if the gain is cranked and the limiter is on it will squash the sound and you'll get distortion.

if you still find it too distorted after turning down the gain, you can turn off the limiter altogether so that the output is cleaner.

no, there's a limiter inside traktor. i'm pretty sure it's turned on by default...
so either turn off the limiter, or turn down the master gain a few decibels so that the distortion isn't as bad when the limiter is on.

it would, but generally behringer has a pretty bad track record for quality so might be wise to avoid.

here's a good post about low-budget audio interfaces that work well for traktor if cost is a deciding factor.
