Asus NJ series (music specific) - 500G, 4GRAM, USB3.0. Ditch existing sound drivers & download ASIO.

Depends on what you mean by "max performance"

My Macbook 2.16 with 2GB of ram can run them together just fine…midi sync, triggering samples in Live, using Live's effects on traktor's decks with either Live's mixer or an external one…that's all fine. I start adding complicated synth patches and everything borks out.

IMO, any modern mac will work. IHNFC about PCs because I just don't care.

thanks guys i really appreciate the help

mostapha bro by "max performance" i meant something that wont get me any boo's
(and who knows maybe a redbull can or two in my face) in a midlle of a tight set :P

btw do you guys advice me getting a desktop pc into a mini case ?
i have seen a lot of sexy mini portable cases
and am wondering if any one actually do use them
instead of laptops since they can be stronger faster cheaper and upgradeable
