    Default Beginning to DJ; Reloop DJ2, NAMM 2011 ..

    Hey guys

    Just a quick question regarding digital DJing for beginners;
    Current assets; Traktor LE, HD25-ii, very basic speakers

    1) Buy a Reloop DJ2 IE [Got a great deal for an aussie] ?
    2) Buy a different controller with budget <$380 ?
    3) Wait for NAMM 2011, in case they reveal a promising controller?

    All contribution appreciated
    Thanks!

    There are a LOT of shifted functions on the Reloop controller, assuming you're going to use the stock mapping for a little while at least. But considering it's price, I'd say it's probably a good bet. I could use it just fine.

    There will be new stuff out, but at that price point, who knows? Some of them are bound to be flops, and most won't be available in stores for a while after the show.

    Go for the reloop. Its about the cheapest of the decent controllers on the market. Anything lower priced is pretty nasty to use.
    I got one about a year and a half ago and never looked back
