Description
The Hercules DJ 4Set combines the functions and feel of a pro controller with the simplicity users need to host memorable parties all night long.

Doesn't look a major improvement from any of the last hercules controllers.
Gotta love that "DJ specialist" by the way. "Look, you can even kill the bass here"

yeah looks like its the replacement for the steel and the 4-mx is the replacement for the rmx.

but hey, for kids getting into it, its better than the rmx for a first controller.

You really think so?

Looks like all they've done is replace the Source buttons with Deck C/D buttons, change the layout (For the worse IMO, looks cramped around EQs) and add some better jogs. I do like the LED colours though.

Apart from the jogs (which i rarely use anyway) i wouldn't take this over an RMX.

How much is this expected to cost?

Edit: Should cost $250 or £160, not bad for the price i guess.

i don't think ...cuz this controler has built in soundcard too...

I think it's more like a downgrade of the actual 4-mx...with less controls and no metal chasi...
so probably less expensive

I'd like to know more about the Ecler controller than the Hercules one?

I don't know man. Hercules controllers have always been better than their reputation (despite the first few ones being fugly and cheap looking) and I'm sure this one will do a good job for its price level either, but for now I won't replace my STEEL with any of the new models.

According to a hercules rep over on the djmixroom forums this product is targetted to the consumer market, hence why they released it at ces rather than namm.
