    Default Arrangement & Session Ableton!?

    So ive been working on a track in Ableton and i have half of it in an arrangement and the rest in session. Everytime i launch the clip it starts looping everything i have sitting in arrangement when i just want it to play whats in session. really scrub question but id appreciate anyones tip its getting annoying

    I struggle with this too, if there is anything in arrangement view, it will play when you try to play only session view....

    I would just drag all the stuff from session into arrangement and listen to it that way

    record arm. ^^^ its the little red box Above Dat is talking about. if its on, you can only do shit in session view (aka if you have a usb midi keyboard and record arm is engaged on say track 4 - a synth - and you tried to play notes, it would only register in teh clip engaged in session view).
